The Authors
The authors of Aerola Bombus books and Aerola's Big Trip are Ramona Moscatello, Lathanise Moscatello, and Lakawthra Cox.
Both Ramona and Lathanise Moscatello, aged 6 and 8, are sociably responsible children with varied experiences. Both play piano. Lakawthra Cox, their mother, is a doctoral candidate with the University of Phoenix in its instructional design and curriculum program with an emphasis in leadership. She will complete her second master’s in counseling when she completes her doctoral studies this year. She is president and CEO of Cox Moscatello, LLC. She has taught with the University of Phoenix for five years. She grew up in Europe and has lived in Germany, Belgium, and Italy. Lakawthra has been happily married to Vincent Moscatello over eleven years. Erin Cox, the designer of the trademarked characters Aerola and Apian and illustrator, has a background in children’s literary and early childhood education and care. Born in Oklahoma but lived in Germany, Belgium, and Italy, she is currently pursuing a MBA. (Erin@aerolabombus.com)
